Interior Painting and Design from Prime to Decorative Finishes

A mural is a large image, such as a painting or enlarged photograph, applied to a wall or ceiling. Derived from the Latin word murus, for "wall". Sometimes the word fresco is used interchangeably to refer to mural painting in general. From the cave paintings of Lascaux and Altamira to the frescoes of the Sistine Chapel, mural painting has been present since time immemorial as a natural expression of human artistry.

There are numerous mural-painting techniques including fresco secco, buon fresco, oil on canvas, acrylic on canvas and others.

As with all our finishes, we provide sample boards and sketches depending on the size of the project although for large areas scale models can be made. We use water-based, odorless, quick-drying materials and occasionally we use oil paints.

We work with clients from Manhattan (Chelsea, Greenwich Village, Tribeca, SoHo, Middle East Side); Brooklyn (Park Slope, Brooklyn Heights, Bay Ridge, Williamsburg); Queens (Long Island City, Astoria); Long Island (Roslyn, Great Neck, Manhasset, Port Washington, New Salem, Westbury, Old Westbury, Glen Cove, Woodmere, Rosedale); Connecticut (Greenwich); New Jersey (Fort Lee, Englewood, Teaneck, Tenafly, Hackensack, Fair Lawn, Edgewater) and from other areas of greater New York .
